Professional Pressure Washing & Roof Cleaning in Albany, NY, Latham, Saratoga Springs & surrounding areas!
Q: Why should I hire a Professional Pressure Washing Company?
A: Pressure Washing is often viewed as a mindless task requiring little to no knowledge or skill, but there are countless considerations when cleaning an exterior beyond where to point your wand. Water pressure should NOT be your only approach. Many homeowners find out the hard way that not all surfaces are created equally, and high pressure wielded improperly can quickly lead to damaged surfaces throughout your property. In our years of experience we've seen cracked vinyl, gouged / scored wood, etched concrete, ripped window screens, busted window seals, not to mention the rapid regrowth and patterning that occurs without proper chemical treatments. Peak Power Pressure Washing uses professional grade products and equipment, has years of industry experience, and is FULLY INSURED in the event something does go wrong.
Q: What's the difference between power washing and pressure washing?
A: Generally speaking these terms are interchangeable, however one could argue that 'pressure washing' uses water pressure as the primary tool whereas 'power washing' leaves more room for interpretation. According to some the difference is hot water capability. Many exterior cleaning companies are more than a pressure washing service. They employ a variety approaches depending on the particular job and the desired results.
Q: What's the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?
A: Often times the underlying assumption with the term 'pressure washing' is the use of water pressure alone to achieve results. Soft Washing is a process that was developed to mitigate any potential for surface damage along with any stigma that the term pressure washing has developed over time. What it boils down to is the use of water pressure versus the use of detergents and chemicals. Experience dictates that it isn't really Pressure Washing VS. Soft Washing, but a spectrum of water pressure versus chemical applications that allow for an optimal approach to any given situation.
Q: What do you use to clean? / Are your products safe?
A: Peak Power Pressure Washing works with professional grade products from top suppliers in the industry. All products are eco-friendly and bio-degradable, however some applications still require PPE (Proper Protective Equipment). Detergents, chemicals, pressures, and mixing ratios are all fully adjustable and selected on a case by case basis. We do NOT encourage property owners to be in the immediate area work is being conducted as one can never account for unknown allergies or sensitivities.
Q: How often should I have my house washed?
A: We recommend a thorough house wash every 2 years or so on average. In reality the answer to this may vary depending upon your location, surrounding vegetation, sun exposure, etc. What is sure to reduce the time between washes is an inferior cleaning process! Peak Power Pressure Washing uses professional grade detergents to kill microscopic growth and maximize clean time!
Q: What are deck & paver revitalizations?
A: As an exterior cleaner it is both extremely gratifying to see the new life you breathe into a property and extremely disappointing to see how quickly nature can reclaim it. To help protect the investment you've made in your outdoor areas, as well as the investment you've made to clean those areas, we offer a 3-step revitalization service for your decks & pavers. Decks are cleaned, brightened, and stained or sealed as desired. Pavers are cleaned, joints are refilled, and a stabilizing sealer is then applied. The result is a longer lasting clean and added protection against wear and deterioration!
