Lichen is a slow-growing, low profile plant that forms a thin, leafy crust on rocks, trees, and other surfaces. As you may have guessed by now, this includes your roof! If there is heavy growth on the roof, then we'll typically begin with a light moss removal followed by a soft roof washing. Our blend of chemicals and surfactants is adjusted to an appropriate concentration for the job at hand and applied to the affected roof areas with low pressure. Dark streaks and discoloration will vanish immediately, while heavier growth will be allowed to weather away naturally. Material that remains attached to the roof will not be forced off with agitation or pressure, however we guarantee the cleaning process to be effective, and we'll apply additional treatments as needed at no additional cost.
